The Tab arrived at Cambridge in June 2009 with one simple aim – to provide fast news and entertainment direct to student’s rooms. The Tab’s philosophy has always been to apply a sense of humour to news within 'the Cambridge bubble' where they hope to give students a little chuckle to help combat the stress and troubles of being a student. The Tab is not all laughs though. The Tab is committed to initiating, engaging and developing debate and opinion that affect Cambridge students. It is this balance that makes them different to the rest and is their recipe for success.
The Tab is Cambridge University’s premier online news and entertainment service. Since launching in June 2009, The Tab has achieved great success and receives over 80,000 hits each week in term time, making it Cambridge University’s most read online publication. Check it out by clicking here.
The Tab was created by students, is run by students and is for students (although graduates can’t seem to get enough of it). They are not affiliated with any university institution, as this is the only way to ensure an independent voice.
Advertising with The Tab provides you with a unique opportunity to reach Cambridge University students with direct access to their rooms for a fraction of the cost of a print advert or flyer.
